Charles,
My wife and I just returned from Zion last month -what an amazing place! (Our first time.)
I agree with Brian that working with the shadows on the left would help the image. However, I also know that the sun at Zion is really harsh and getting this image where you have it now was a chore - good job!
I did experiment and had some success with bracketing to open up the shadows more.
Love the composition and everything Brian said on the leading lines.

Sanat,
You are definitely piquing my interest in India - interesting sites and locations!
There is a lot going on in this image. Just my thoughts here, but focusing in on the 4 boats on the left would result in more of a water image and capture a feeling of fishing better.
This would be a neat location to travel to with a camera! |

Quang,
Love the colors on this one!
the bare(ish) branches on the left are something to watch for (you likely already did). I find myself moving back and forth on a location on this one trying to get the trees to balance out a bit.
Not sure of the location, but I often make my wife mad when we find a locations like this and I experiment with different elevations and left/right/center composition. I am intrigued with what you had for models as there is so much to work with here without the models! |

Mark,
I really like the colors on this one. The "RGB" feel is pretty neat.
Not pushing one item over another creates a balance not focusing on any one item but highlighting the contrast between the roof, antenna and the ballon. I agree that the roof does not "feel" as old as it likely is. |
