The colors on this one are unexpected yet soothing - very nice! Not sure I have any suggestions. |

Sanat,
This is a difficult one. I like Charles' idea of changing the focus to the people/river. You may not have had the time, but I would have tried to wait for everyone to move away and maybe tried to make the river the focus of the image.
We have several scenes like this around our home and I too have to really think about how to compose images like this. I definitely know your struggle well! When I get stuck trying to make a decision like this, I would try something Charles suggested: simplify the composition.
What a wonderful area! |

I concur with the others. A few other items I like:
- the fog in the background gives the image some depth
- the framing using the trees
Good image! |

Charles,
I really like this one. I do agree with Mark that the animal (a ram?) really seems misplaced. I played with switching to a 1:1 aspect ratio and making the image a little more focused on the canyon and stream. Nice delta emptying into the lagoon. Not really enough resolution to do this in the uploaded "raw", but an idea if possible with the real raw.
Regardless, this image say Alaska!

Many thanks for the comments. I liked the photo, but was not confident in it. |
