It's amazing what the iPhone is capable of. Always good to have a good camera in your pocket. Whenever I upgrade my phone, I rationalize the costs as "camera gear" instead of just a phone.

A breathtaking image. Now I must add Mount Rainier National Park to my bucket list. The HDR blend really works. |

I agree with Arik, the tree is replicating the patterns of the ferns. Maybe you saw this on site or a pleasant surprise when you got home. (We all like those surprises) I like what you have done in post processing…the dark contrast seems appropriate for a forest scene. (I would like to see Jack's version as well. ) |

Seeing this image makes me want to return to Palouse with my IR camera! I however missed this location, a great view of Steptoe Butte. Great job on post processing, removing the sun flares in the lower left. Gary might be on to something about the horizon, looks like the vertical windmills are leaning slightly to the right. For my tastes, I would have left the grain elevator on the left since it adds to the story. Great image! |

It is Picturesque! Lovely bright foliage rendered in IR. Perhaps try a vignette on the bottom corners to lead the eye down the path.
I also shoot frequently with auto ISO especially when faced with varying light conditions. My Sony has the opposite problem of not budging off ISO 100 despite a low shutter speed(1/30). I am sure that I need to program the auto ISO better in the camera settings. |

Good job on the perspective correction. I think the vintage look works on this image. |

A very serene image! I also like your background story and I have to put China on my bucket list. I do think Gary is on something, adding more contrast to the image. Actually the false color of the original image is appealing. |

Beautiful image! For my taste, I would position the base of the tree further to the right. That way the the fork would not be approaching the center.(only if you have room on the original) Also, check for masking issues with the vine half way up the trunk |

The Ivey really showcases IR images. I also like the leading line to the doorway, both the sidewalk and the large overhanging branch. |
