I agree! The desaturation gives an old world feeling. Well done. |

I love this image! Great leading line to man/dog/lighthouse. While the smoke was "bad" for health reasons, it really adds moodiness to the images.
Did you ask the man to walk his dog toward the lighthouse or was this a happy accident? |

It's a lovely image with the curving road. I would try to add some more drama to the sky if possible. Perhaps the small branches would prohibit this without post processing halos being created. |

I have seen this location photographed many times, but this IR shot is my favorite! You got lucky with the clouds! |

I think the sepia tone was a perfect addition to this image. |

Hmmm, I have never seen an IR portrait image. Now I will have to try it. It does soften the skin. |

For my tastes, I would prefer that both tracks be included from the start at the lower bottom. Otherwise, I love the curving leading line to the barn. |

I probably should have done more research before I pulled the trigger, but I approaching a deadline for my upcoming vacation. I had an older 6400 that I had planned on converting before realizing it used a different battery. So I traded that in for 7CR. It's good to know you like the Kolari clip in filters because that was my original plan, but decided to cause have a straight 720 conversion. For now, I am happy with converting my IR images to B&W. On my last vacation, my primary camera was the 6700 and used the Apsc lens on the A7CR which worked out pretty good. This upcoming trip, I will "need" my A1 for the Dublin Horse Show, so more gear to lug around. |

What do you think of this? It is very dramatic. I also added a slight vignette to the lower corners because it was so top heavy with the blacks. |

That is so kind! It would be helpful for me. I'm available almost anytime other than Wednesday night. Name the time that works best for you. |

I love how the foliage and stone make good contrast.
What are the advantages using Nik Silver Efex Pro vs Lightroom classic's adaptive B&W? |

Great image Melanie! I was also in Thailand this past winter but unfortunately I hadn't purchased my IR camera then. I need to go back retake all my images in IR. This reminds me of Phra Nang Beach but Thailand (as you know) has multiple incredible beaches.
I also have Sony gear. Do you recall what lens you were using? |

Thanks Arik, I look forward to learning about IR. At this moment, I am only interested in B&W conversions in IR so I assumed that 720 made the most sense. Probably in a year, I will regret not having full spectrum.
I agree about the sky, it is dramatic enough just with IR.
