The original and final are better to me. I believe I prefer the final BW, though, for the grasses in the water. There is almost a glistening effect there. If you go with the original colored version, I would saturate the red in the boats and remove the debris along the edge. A vignette might help disguise that too. |

Definitely minimalist to me. Great colors and it makes the viewer wonder what it is, especially with the small silver pin in the gray. Scratches along the edge only give a clue that it is some sort of metal. The only area I would adjust is the right lower corner. I would try and make it match the left. |

What a classic! They were so huge. I think you could punch up the rust areas even more and maybe select some areas across the hood to brighten, exposing the textures. I like the head-on angle you chose for the image. I can imagine floating along in this and never feeling a bump in the road. |

I believe the story is most impressive in BW. There are many fine details, and even the area with fans in the back are interesting and things look steamy. I don't see how this can be improved. Very nice! |

It had to be a gorgeous car. I like the variety of designs, and the colors are billiant. I especially like the reflections picked up in the middle of the wheel and the reflection on the fender, but overall I think I prefer the original -- for the blacks and softness of the leather wheel cover. I believe this might be impressive in BW too. |

Thank you, Ruth! I think you're right that one is in the light-- on the right. Eyes are on the outside of those vertical stripes nearest the eaten stem. |

What a beautiful sky! I like the panoramic idea and agree that you could crop for a stronger image. Unless you see artistic value in it, you don't need that much sky. I see the artifacts mentioned (right above the word 'clouds' at the tree line). You can smooth that out easily or try cloning it. Great job editing the house's roof line. I don't notice it at all.

Thank you very much, Gene! I forgot to share how I stabilized the phone to get the sharpest image I could: sat on the ground with it on my knee. People are not always knowledgeable about sizing. No one talks about it much because it's technical, kinda boring-- but it is very important and I appreciate your sharing those tips! |

This is wonderful! Just looking at the thumbnail before opening the image, I thought you had been in Mirror Lab again! Love the abstract quality and how you achieved it naturally. You saw a possibility, waited and grabbed it. I can see why the color might work, too. Metals punched up can be fantastic, but BW is best for this-- to me. Shadows simply fall naturally and it's what makes the invisible in nature mesmerizing, when seen. Nice! |

It's a once-in-a-lifetime shot! I think it's beautiful and would not touch a thing about it. The rock formations, textures, colors in the distance are very nice. You were quick to react and very fortunate! |

Great story! I wonder what it was watching so intensely that it did not mind the rain! I like the choice of a square format. It works. I would remove the small branch on the glass and experiment with punching up the blue in the fence. If you do try and disguise the post behind the cat, you might just remove it up to the horizontal bar. It might be too tedious to do so, but overall it's a vey cute image. |

Thanks, Kieu-Hanh! I agree that the brown is a distraction and needs removed. I did get to watch one emerge. It's a thrill! |

Yes! I could see the bokeh peeking through and wondered about those little lenses! It would be nice to pick it up in the back. Thank you, I had fun with this. They are a little more cooperative than snails. They seem to freeze when they feel threatened. I was able to get very close |

That is an incredible story. My dad would have been heart sick. He owned a 1960 convertible and thought of it as the "family car" until my long legs no longer easily fit scrunched on the console! Very nice capture of the destruction of this classic. |
