26 Oct 19 Comment Wonderful catch! The creature is perfect in all the details-- catchlight, tiny hairs on the legs, position on the leaf with that fantastic shadow. Some slight marks need to be removed at top right corner, and if you can recrop, I'd add a bit of space above the image and on the right to get the whole leaf. If you can't do that on the right, try an edit tool that expands/fills to restore a little of the cut leaf. Whatever it gives you, you may need to clone/heal until it's realistic (tedious, but it works - with patience). Nicely done! Oct 9th
26 Oct 19 Comment Very inviting scene and cute pumpkin. The colors and lighting are warm and perfect for fall. I especially like the rough textures in the back column and walls. It nicely contrasts the smooth areas in the image. I would try editing to expand and fill in on left. Doing so might bring back a little more of the nice railing. I don't use Lightroom, but it must have tools for such edits. Others here may be helpful in that area. Oct 9th
26 Oct 19 Reply Great suggestion! Eliminating the road makes a huge improvement, and I like the painterly version. I'll have fun working on it -- and enjoying their wine! Thanks-- Oct 5th
26 Oct 19 Comment Beautiful architecture. A church near us has similar designs and I'm always looking for the best image in it. As is, BW works great. I might rotate it vertically. I like allowing the windows to lead into the image. Geometrically the possibilities seem endless as an abstract. I'd go for perfect symmetry, a mirror image, taking a sliver off the top (or on right in vertical) matching edges. You may prefer the original, but for fun I included a fast creation from Mirror Lab.

26 Oct 19 Comment Beautiful warty creature. We had many in Swan Pt. but missing them here. I never get tired of trying to catch the gold in their eyes. I'd give it a little more space in front and try flipping the image so it's going the other direction. Oct 4th
26 Oct 19 Comment Love it. What a story it tells. Those are wild tides. Imagining the tiny boat in the mud rising all the way to the dock! Beautiful capture, great colors. I see nothing needed. Oct 4th

86 Oct 19 Reply I haven't tried it with the phone. I used my camera propped up on books. A remote would work, and maybe try setting the phone camera's timer. Oct 13th
86 Oct 19 Comment At the top! What a trip! It's a very impressive image. With a couple of small changes, I prefer the original. In the BW, I'm distracted by the dark area in the middle (shadow of a cloud), and the people blend into the rock. To me, making them more visible helps show the perspective in this massive natural creation. I'm not sure how you fix it. In the original, I would only punch up colors and contrast to expose more textures, crop minimally (keep the rock on left and top of the rock on right, crop out the people on right and at bottom). No matter what you do, you have a beautiful memory in both versions. Oct 9th
86 Oct 19 Comment How fun! I've enjoyed this type of experimenting, too. The designs are mesmerizing. I had to search for the label you mention. It wasn't too visible to me. I think you can easily do a bit of cloning to remove it. I don't see any problems with the sharpness. I like the focus you chose. It's very artistic and makes a nice abstract. Oct 9th
86 Oct 19 Reply Oh,that's very kind. How I wish! A member of my other group took some great photos of Gaudi's work. It is fascinating. Oct 5th
86 Oct 19 Comment Loving our cooler temps. Yikes, a scorpion?! You have critters running everywhere out there! I love this lizard, and your edits are great. You really worked to bring out fantastic details and textures in its skin. If you make changes, I'd only reduce the highlights around the lizard. I'm curious: what kind of lizard? Were you shooting from above or was it in front of you going up a rock or wall? Nice record shot! Oct 5th
86 Oct 19 Comment Oh my, it looks serious! I can only imagine. I'm amazed you captured multiple shots without being observed! I really like the story your image conveys through their hand motions, and the man in the truck, yellow light, and on the phone (one can imagine he might be calling for help). If possible, I would re-crop to add extra space on the left side behind the uniformed man. The original is nice and sharp and sharpening this version might make it pop! Oct 5th
86 Oct 19 Comment I had to look twice! I couldn't be sure the man was real. Your edits really worked well to create a ghostly image. I love the colors and eerie atmosphere. I might try straightening the doorway and right side, but I go back-and-forth on that. I actually like the angle, too. If you do alter it, the perspective tool in Snapseed is pretty easy to use. 86 Oct 19 Reply You should see it 'dance' :-) Thanks! Oct 5th
