26 May 19 Comment Thank you, everyone-- I appreciate your thoughts! May 31st
26 May 19 Comment It's a fantastic street scene and truly makes one hope that the lack of head scarf is part of a progressive statement. I don't know why but the entire scene appears soft on my monitor. Maybe it's the beast of my device. If others see it, then maybe retrace some steps and it can be corrected easily. May 12th
26 May 19 Comment I love it. Your composition is impressive against the dark background, and the flower is crisp and sharp with nice details. I like the hanging bud and would keep it. I think it adds to the overall image. The only thing I would change is the green at right top corner and edge. I would darken that a little bit. I love photographing flowers. It allows you to see the intriguing beauty of their details and worlds within worlds. May 12th
26 May 19 Comment What a unique image. It grabs you and makes you look and wonder. It isn't clear, at least to me, that they are islands without explanation. I like that. I first thought it might be snow and mountains, or sand, or a small object of some kind. It makes a great abstract. I have taken images from planes and it is fun to reverse and enhance colors of terrain to create abstract art. This has a creative look; yet, it's all natural. Nice! May 12th
26 May 19 Comment That's a tremendous sunrise. But, what I love is the angle and shoreline leading to the pier. The pier almost goes into infinity. Very pretty scene, and I don't see how it could possibly be better. May 12th
26 May 19 Comment This is beautiful. You have the perfect touch with edits. What a transformation. I can't imagine the sky ever having noise. I love the light across the water and the glow from inside buildings. I think the lamp (?) over the reddish building could be removed, but I might add more birds. Of course, you might want to remember the scene exactly as you saw it, so no sneaky additions. Had to be a beautiful experience! May 12th

86 May 19 Comment Destructive forces in nature assisted you in capturing this image. Neat! I love the light through the lacy leaves, and I like the trees. To me, their angle adds interest. The Snapseed edits made ths colors pop without overdoing it and sharpened the area across the top. I would only darken the area ot top left in the corner. Nice! May 13th
86 May 19 Reply I rarely compete, but being in my other group (26) for so long has taught me many do's and don'ts. Keeping space is important. The initials were there for an online group. I forgot to remove them! Thanks for your comments! May 11th
86 May 19 Comment Oh wow! At first glance, I thought it was a fisheye image. Did you shoot as a pano? Fascinating terrain. Great effects of your edits on the grass. All perfectly natural looking, and I love the dandelions. I'd remove the lone tree top right, and that's all. No changes. It might be interesting in BW too. May 11th
86 May 19 Comment Bee-utiful colors! The bee is loaded, and they can be quick, so congrats on this! If you want more attention to the bee, I'd crop tight-- left and bottom for a closeup. In Snapseed try HDR Scape, Drama and GGlow to blur the background; use Selective (tricky tool) to enhance the bee. Nice job!

86 May 19 Reply You're very welcome. Small things sometimes make big differences. Hard to improve on nature's beauty! May 9th
86 May 19 Reply Janet, thank you for your comments. I don't use an iphone but others here do. There must be an app you can use that's comparable to what I used for this image that allows you to make similar edits. Carl might know of one. May 9th
86 May 19 Comment Beautiful soft colors. This lends itself nicely to abstract. I see more images in this, reminding me of Georgia O'Keefe. Your edits make it pop, and the frame adds interest. I just learned to tap the frame more than once for more effects. I might crop tiny bit from the top and smooth the small white dot at lower left. May 8th
86 May 19 Comment This must be beautiful in person. It's a very lovely scene with fascinating lava rocks and crystal water between the lava opening. I especially like the surf and the small building to the right.
I might crop a bit of the left to move the V between the rocks off center, and perhaps crop some of the blue sky. I think doing that will give you a stronger image. Very nice record image that will forever bring great memories.

86 May 19 Comment I think this is beautiful! I love the birds. I looked at your final version first and thought the birds were a natural part of the scene. Lovely sky and fog. The results of the edits really altered the mood and you have a much stronger, impressive image. Yes, the apps are some-kinda-crazy! I am always installing, uninstalling, saving in multiple places. Lots to learn! May 7th
