Thanks! I liked the roof but worried it would be too much. Wish poles and lines would magically disappear! |

But doesn't it cut it too close the top? |

:-) You know, I viewed this on my phone and was surprised. The sharp catchlight of both birds was the first thing I was drawn to, and the softness around the beak was much less obvious. I think my tablet needs replacing! |

This is beautiful and pretty perfect in my eyes. Love it! I especially love the lighting and tiny water drops you captured. If anything, some areas around the top blossom might be blended into the background more and then the edge sharpened. |

What a beautiful pair! I love your composition. Such striking colors against black background, and neat shadows and you got the catchlight in one eye. I'm a little distracted by the blur around the left bird's face, but if the bird moved there was no control for that. I remembered something about bird photos (keeping more than 1 in focus) and looked it up. You were on target. The only suggestion was possibly raising the ISO and/or slightly closing the aperture -- or hypnotize the bird! I think you were real lucky to capture them so still. Very pretty. |

Birds move too quickly for me. I think you got a great record shot of this unusual looking bird. I see little to change. Nice background, good space around the bird, lighting including catch light in the eye. Wonderful metallic colors. I think it would be nice to have more definition between the top of the head and your background. Perhaps the background in that area can be lightened, or the vignette. If we had such colorful Starlings here we might show them a little more love! |

Nicely arranged. Great shot against the black, and I especially like the luminous-looking edge from your side lighting. I think it's very realistic at first glance. To me, the peel seems too pitted--maybe too sharp. I like the pitting but would smooth some surfaces to make the oranges more real. |

The image is like an alternative universe. You made the most of an icy day! One recent ice storm forced us to find a hotel. Hot water never felt so good! The colors and details picked up in the ice are incredible. I especially like the blues around the bottom, and if any changes are made I would go for adding a few more colors in the sky (less green) and more stars. It's fun and very creative. |

Thank you! The whole time I wondered about doing a mono version or retro look instead of the color... I will test it out, and crop the top. Thanks-- |

Thank you! I agree, there is ghosting around the edges of the sky. I'm not sure how to fix it LoL but it did happen when I added a filter, so I will work backwards and see how it might be adjusted. |

Thanks! If only we could avoid phone poles and wires! I don't like the pole either and have considered removing it (if it's not too tedious). |

Your description capturing this makes me smile, and then the building itself has alot of humor in it! There is not a hint of where you removed cars. No one would ever imagine you removed a thing. I don't know if you like snapseed, but you could use the perspective tool set for "free" to adjust, straighten up sections of the building. It also fills in some areas as it straightens things, so sometimes you don't need to clone/heal as much. At first glance, I didn't think about the tower being cloned back into the image. The only thing I'd do in that area is extend the wrought iron over to the column, and maybe extend the pavement across the doorway. Really a fun image! |

You had to work fast to capture this! Very pretty colors. I know the frustration of transferring things, and Snapseed would have allowed you to use some interesting filters. I don't see any changes but maybe reduce the saturation of the grass slightly. It had to be exciting trying to catch it before it disappeared. Nicely done! |

Wonderful reflections and mirror image! It's so sharp, and the colors are fantastic. Many people would never believe it was from a phone! I am glad you cropped to keep the rocks and bit of shoreline on the left. It helps lead the eye, and it allows a view directly down into that crystal clear water. No other changes are needed. Did you notice the person on the shoreline-- very tiny but visible, and an added bonus. Nice!
About edits: I don't think restrictions are necessary-- my 2cents. Whatever makes the best image... All my edits are w/phone apps, but I've never used PS or LR for anything (not enough patience). Additionally, the programs I have on the desktop aren't compatible with my phone. |

This is a very creative, impressive image. It's 'ghostly' with Lincoln appearing almost 3D which is wonderful. The grunge is very nice. I see no changes needed, but I kept staring and thinking, and I tested flipping it (mirror image). Personally, I would prefer it reversed, but I have a tendency to see things differently! I, too, am continually amazed at the absence of noise in many phone photos, especially at night. This is beautiful! |
