The outter areas of blur concerned me too. I went back and increased the vignette which helped darken things and it looks better. It's tricky finding the exact amount to use. I'll go back to the hydrant and try a smaller aperture. Thank you. |

This is a warm and inviting image. I love the softness of the colors and light throughout, but I also like the crispness of the teapot in the foreground. I agree with the others that you don't need the heavy vignette. I'd back it off just a little. Nice image! |

Very nice reds and reflections, and I love the drying racks. You might consider cropping the left taking away the far left boat, and darkening the image slightly overall to reduce the bright areas and emphasize the sky and distant mountains a little more. Beautiful little harbor. |

I definitely see the attraction. It's a fascinating floor pattern and colors are dotted throughout by the pedestrians. Interesting how a person is at every table and half seem attached to a digital device. It's unfortunate the one side is clipped, but a vignette around the outer edge might help make it less noticeable. |

He really makes me smile! You captured a great expression, and his hair and beard emphasize the look. Wonderful wrinkles, and the red robe is a bonus. I also like the background of angles. Unnecessary, but I would crop the tiny bit on right barely showing the edge of one angle. |

I'm always looking for neat stairwells, and they definitely present challenges in perspective. Beautiful designs in the railing. I like the B/W, but aside from the bright area I prefer the color (punched up some). A nitpick on the B/W (since it's not immediately obvious and doesn't detract from the overall image), I'd darken the area where you removed 1 shoe, and smooth the puffy cloud-like area where you removed the other, maybe cloning some of the floor. Can't tell there was any side well at all due to your edits and love the swirling effect you captured. Standing from a distance, it reminds me of an eye. I tried flipping and rotating and a vertical is pretty neat too. |

The bright day may have caused some problems, and there may have been haze near the mountains (in all my West photos I battled haze from forest fires). You might be able to adjust the sky darker which will also eliminate ghosting. I would crop vertically, on left, almost in the middle of the large tree at top where the mountain begins rising; and, then crop horizontally beneath the first large shrub (above the pile of rocks). It's not as vertical as others suggest, but allows the whole shrub to be in the corner and lead the eye and keeps the entire mountain in the back. This might also be interesting in B/W. |
