This makes me smile! Wonderful image. I actually like both and would only darken them. I like the close-up because of the whiskers, but I also like the original for more birds and all those scars. I don't notice the 3rd hippo immediately. Looks alot like the mud, so I'd leave it. |

Very nice! Love how you captured the flow of water curving around the leaf. Nice nature and lovely colors. |

Wow! That's great. I love all the varying geometrics. Colors are wonderful. I see no improvements needed, but I agree about straightening. |

It's different and unlike what you usually share. I'm not fond of the waviness. It makes me blink to focus. I might like more waviness to reflect rain running down glass, but I believe overall it would have more impact without the waves (keeping the soft painterly effect). I think the scene lends itself to that effect. Not sure you can remove all the waviness, though. |

Fall colors didn't show up for many this year, unfortunately. In spite of their absence, this is a nice shot capturing falls and reflection. I like the silky treatment of the water, but I feel like the surrounding area needs to be sharper. I would consider cropping a small amount from the bottom (half-way or slightly more up into the rock) unless you feel you need to keep all of that reflected curve. Punched-up colors overall would help give more impact. |

To me, not busy at all. Love the textures and pops of color throughout. World of improvement from the original. The treatment of the sky is awesome. The only place that seems a bit overly saturated/sharp is the trees in the right corner. I might soften that area. It's beautiful, and I agree with Dave that it tends to be painterly. Nice! |
