Wow! I had no idea there would be such a crowd. It's amazing and colorful. My only suggestion would be to consider cropping the left closer to the pole to remove the sign, but I'm not sure because that extra space helps lead the eye. Maybe remove the sign instead so it's not cut off. I have to wonder where they will dance! No space, so on the tables LoL |

From drab to dramatic. I like the tremendous change, especially the textures. The less-than-focused boot isn't distracting to me. The only thing I would like is more room in the frame and maybe the back boot moved/tipped over a little. Great edits without overdoing it, in my opinion. |

The massiveness of the mountains looming over the tiny town is impressive. I love the pops of red in the village, so I favor the color. I would adjust the lighting a little around the mountains to the left (lighten a bit and bring more vibrance) and work toward a more dramatic, darker sky. It would help if you could bring the entire building in the foreground into the scene, but if that's not possible, I would take it out so it isn't cut off. Beautiful scene. |

You got a great shot! I would love seeing them in action. Very impressive image to be cropped so much. You were able to maintain so many details, especially in the beautiful feathers. What a moment! Be sure to thank you're mom-- |

Really neat, and dizzying! It is great in B/W and I really see nothing to change. It might be straightened a very tiny bit. |

Love this. Welcome to the group, Dave! I lived in DC and know the stairway. Not a fun climb! It's a great image with the leading lines of the rails. I especially like the lighting you captured and overall crispness of your image. I agree with Bob that a small extension of lightness on the rails toward the bottom would be beneficial. |

Thanks Bob! All great suggestions! Yes, I couldn't figure out how to increase the tones in specific areas to emphasize the grit. I like the adjustments you made. I don't know about the crop. I prefer removing the bar over the square result. I took several shots of this wheel, and as simple as it seemed, it became a challenge finding the right, and interesting, angle. I still go back-and-forth. Interesting that we have so many B/W's this month!
