A very pleasing image to look at. I agree to Brad building on the left almost transparent. The image is very well executed with a beautiful sky, the architecture is sharp and intriguing, and the lighting is spot on. Well done! |

This is a beautifully captured portrait of the parrot! Shooting birds against a sky background can be quite challenging, but you've handled it masterfully. The exposure, focus, and composition are spot on-great work! |

I agree with Jon-capturing shots like this is always a challenge, and your HDR technique worked beautifully here. At first glance, the image might seem slightly off due to the differing perspectives of the front and back columns, which is natural when shooting from the ground. However, the cross itself is perfectly straight, which adds balance and makes the composition work so well. The intricate details on the cross are truly captivating-great job! |

Banff Gondola ride is incredible, If you ever get the chance to visit Banff again, I'd highly recommend trying the gondola at sunset for a completely different perspective. s for the orange snacks, great guess-they do look like jalebi! However, these are actually some spicy chips. Jalebi is usually served hot, right out of the wok. |

Thank you all for your wonderful feedback on this image! Just to clarify, the colorful items in the foreground are actually fish crackers, or papadums, not flowers. I truly appreciate the technical comments about the foreground and background-they're incredibly insightful. My goal with this shot was to create a contextual portrait, highlighting the vendor amidst his vibrant array of products. |

Thank you so much, Bob, for the kind words! That shot was captured from the summit of Sulfur Mountain. The Banff Gondola takes you to the top, where you're treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of Banff town and the surrounding Rockies. During the summer, daylight lasts much longer, with the sun setting around 10:30 PM, while in winter, the sun sets as early as 5 PM. This makes winter the perfect time to capture stunning night shots with the town lights glowing against the snowy landscape. |
