I'm glad you liked the photo, although I didn't understand the final comment "A common theme and technique to use with black and white photography, particularly in the early years." Many established photographers still do this style of photography, I don't think it's common for beginners. I'll keep trying. |

Thanks Isaac. You know very well that I am a very patient person when it comes to taking photographs. I like to find the scene and wait for something to happen. |

Bruce, I really like the final image, but I find it difficult to understand why you cropped so much. Maybe your camera lens doesn't allow you to get a better close-up?. I really like street photography with context and that's why I cropped it to give you my point of view. |

Bev, I find it strange that a photographer would change the background of a street photo, it loses the concept of what this style of photography means. Also, the image is slightly shaken because you may have used a very slow shutter speed, this is something I can't know because you didn't provide us with the parameters you used. |
