I really like this image. I like its simplicity, the variation of tonal values from whites to grays to black, and how the pedals are gently folding towards the center. Nicely done! |

Gloria, I always struggle with where to focus on these types of flowers. You did a good job at catching a good focus on a bit of the pedal and the full spandix. Nice cropping too. I might have brought the highlights down a bit. Lovely capture. |

Good catch. I love the pattern on its body and how the wings show their transparency. If it were my image, I would crop in a bit tighter onto the fly. Example is attached. |
