95 Nov 25 Comment A agree with your wife, which is why I no longer live in the midwest. It was not the snow that I ran from, but rather the bugs! That said, the quality of this image is what I aspire too. Amazing detail and focus. This was captured with no flash? Can you say more about the " little adjustment" you made in PS Elements? Nov 24th
95 Nov 25 Comment Fantastic! The detail is amazing. I really do need to use my flash more often. It's a little intimidating beyond TTL. I agree with the crop suggestion. That Red eye scares me, but the details deserve a closer look. Nov 24th
95 Nov 25 Comment What a great concept. Like Pat, I too had to stare at it. Being from the midwest (now a Californian), at first glance I thought it was frost on tree branches :) The images engages my mind as there are several different focus points to search for. Anytime an image engages the mind, it is worth the pause to take it in. Nov 24th
95 Nov 25 Comment I absolutely love this image just how it is. The way the light swirls from the center into shadow then back to light on the outside edges adds depth and accentuates the objects shape. The tiny hint of blue color is calming and captivating. If I saw this image at an art show, I would most likely buy it to add to the high quality sea shell photography series hanging on my living room wall. Nov 24th
95 Nov 25 Comment I don't have much too add that has not already been said. Stuart's suggestions are spot on and I too like the concept of this image. You always have such interesting images Margaret! Nov 24th
95 Nov 25 Comment All, Thank you for your feedback! Mike I like the crop you have suggested. Stuart, somehow now when I look at this photo I can't but help see the smiley face first - - Thanks? Luckily it's an easy fix. I like your research suggestion to take two photos and compare them. I will do that too. My challenge is, there is so much fun when exploring the mastery of photography, but so little time. Nov 24th
