That spoonbill, flying directly at me with her mouth open, made me laugh out loud. She is definitely peeved! Great timing on this image. I don't mind the darkish tones surrounding the wings that Tom mentioned, for me, it adds to the feeling of movement. Love it. |

I am waiting for the creature from the black lagoon to crawl out of the algae. You have a wonderful knack of see the beauty and/or interest in areas that many of us would miss. A small comment, between the smooth water and the dark reed area (upper right) there is some pixilation. You could consider cropping down from the top to remove it. I see that in some comments they see an angel. Funny, I am seeing (imagining) a swap monster. |

Honey bees collecting pollen are a great subject matter. If you have the pixels to work with, the tighter, off-center crop that Mike suggested is very enjoyable. I wonder what the bee in a horizontal (moving left to right) rather than moving upward would look like? This is a lovely image for the spring season. |

Fun capture. Not sure if you plan to enter it into a 'nature' competition, but if not, you could consider flipping the flying bird so that it is flying towards the nest and see what that looks like. Either way, nice image. |

The is beautiful. I love the tac-sharp mossy stone with the water rushing around. The contrast of the stillness of the rocks and the movement of the water is, for me, what makes this special. I can't suggest a change. |

Nice capture, the lower bill cutting through the water with the light in the eye is as good as it gets. A couple of minor considerations are to slightly darken the top of the frame and remove the two or three bright white droplets on the water. The out stretched wings and the angle of the bird and wake are perfect. |
