Personally, I love the tilt. It makes the image fun and active. The original image is less active. The only suggestion that I have is to add some space on the bottom. The color palette is so pleasing, another great photograph. |

Fun to read everyone's comments. For me, the hazy branches give me a feeling of the cold, harsh weather and I like it in the image. I also enjoy seeing the bald eagle high on the tree where he naturally landed. All I can suggest is to consider adding back some of the tree trunk and a little more space on the right. This is a lovely image. |

The juvenile's orange eye is a great focal point for me. The tighter crop really puts that orange eye front and center. If you are going to use this image for a Pictorial competition you could consider removing the branch under the adults beak. Excellent capture. |

Beautiful! What a great background sky. I agree with Mike that adding a touch of light to the elk's face (on the right) will strengthen the focal point to this lovely image. I love all your nature photographs. |

I to enjoy your title, it complements the image. My favorite part of this image is the two rolled leaves on the bottom. You could consider cropping off some of the stem on the righthand side, but I like the 1:1 size that you have. As always, you have an interest and unique image. |

Great capture. I am pulled into this image by the incredibly sharp eye. The lizard legs and tail hanging out of its mouth give us an insight to this kestrel's diet. The wire is what it is. I wish that judges would allow hand-of-man items in Nature competitions. The bird chose this perch. I enjoy all your nature photographs, well done. |
