Great suggestions, thank you. I seem to be consistently off kilter! A bit more of the environment in the background will give the location more context, thanks for the comment. |

Thank you Ally. It is always a tough call for me to change what is naturally in the environment, but removing the reeds makes the image better. |

This is one of those images that one goes 'oooh' when seen. This is lovely, and very dramatic. My only comment is would the red on the gorget show up more if the bright red of the firebrush was slightly darkened? Either way, this is a great image. |

Judith, you see things in nature that I miss. This is a fun image, the red leaf is perfect for winter. You might consider darkening the grout, as Mike suggested. The contrast between the white and dark grey takes diverts attention away from the leaf. I like the twigs and their shadow, for me it adds a bit of drama. |

I too enjoy this image. Did you photograph it in the morning? It almost looks like he's trying to warm up. I think that the color balance you have between the background and the bird is just right (not too bright not too dark). Wonderful image. |

I find this image fascinating. Personally, I enjoy the sharp focus on the rocks with the water cascading around them. From my perspective, you took a common waterfall scene and made it unique. I wouldn't change a thing. |

Nice job getting the entire bird in focus. There is something prehistoric about a GBH, so fun to watch and listen to them in the environment. The only comment that I have is that I like the darker, cooler color of the background in the original image. You might consider masking the background a touch. Wonderful image. |
