52 Mar 24 Reply Hi Ann, I took your advice and added a bit of the mother's head. I like the image better! Many thanks for your comment. Mar 18th
52 Mar 24 Reply I did make the image a monochrome, increased the contrast a touch and add a bit more of the mother's head. I submitted to club competition, I'll let you know how it goes. Thank you for your comment, very helpful. Mar 18th
52 Mar 24 Reply I am so happy to be in DD52, what a nice group. Mar 18th

52 Mar 24 Reply Thank you Mike. This photo group has so much talent, I will need to up my game. The seals were photographed 2 weeks ago. Our northern California coast is a great testament to recovery and resilience. The otters around this area are beyond adorable too. Mar 4th
52 Mar 24 Comment I enjoy the way you brought out the tree from the background and enhanced the contrast and color. I wonder if you cropped from the top a touch (maybe take the sky out) that the tree might be more the focus of the photo. Just a thought, great photo. Mar 4th
52 Mar 24 Comment There is a story of resilience in your photo, very nice. My only comment is that you might consider toning down the stems leading to the dead leaves. Mar 4th
52 Mar 24 Comment I love the way that you brought out the blue mountains in the background and increased the contrast. I was thinking about ways to crop, but I think that you nailed it. Mar 4th
52 Mar 24 Comment Very cool image of the Night Heron, great eye. Great capture of the bird landing on the post (I think that it is landing). The only comment that I have is that you might consider blurring out the structure in the background a bit. Mar 4th
52 Mar 24 Comment I love the coyote's concentration in this photo, great eye and focus! I also like the mid-air snow flakes you captured and the water behind the coyote. You might consider decreasing the snowy foreground and upper snowbank to focus our eyes on the coyote. Mar 4th
52 Mar 24 Comment Just lovely, a photo I would hang on my wall. You have brought out great colors and clarity. On my computer screen, the left side looks a touch hot. You might consider decreasing the light on the sand hills on the left. Mar 4th
