I love the picture. I very much appreciate the perfect symmetry, also in the fences on the top. In my view you didnt overdo and the picture perfectly represents your intention. Very nice |

Just beautiful - I particularly like the diagonal of the stem and the darkness in the right below and the lights in the left above. I am not sure if the stem goes precisely through the corner of the picture, if not: this is something I might consider. very nice |

thanks Mike - the idea behind the title was to capture the fast viewers attention and to encouarge them to have a second look to find the nut :-) |

Many thanks! You mentionned Cole earlier (in your version of a power line) and I am following him since then. I admire also his work with the "ghosts in the concentration camp" and have spent considerable efforts in mimicking the idea in other context (with no success so far, unfortunately). |

Hi Mark - I love the concept and I tried similar more than once. As the comments of the colleagues show it is a very tricky task to portray the beauty of the cathedral as well as their size in one and the same picture. Either the person serving as comparison is too prominent and hence distracting or too little and hence not visible. In my view you did a very good job in capturing both aspects. |

Emil, in my photography I claim that "nothing is on the picture that wasnt on the negative". This prevents from replacing the sky as you did but also releives me from the many decisions how to undertake such replacement. I admire your skills in doing so as the sky not only provides a good contrast to the sand but also looks perfectly natural. Very well done |

Syed very nice perspective and well done. I liked the reflections as well but found that a square format would bring them into better perspective (I used Emils version).

Hi Pete, I love to see a first result of your new camera and I like very much the outcome. The contrast between the two men seems to me particularly striking because the homeless man (in my perception) seems to be a rather recent homeless and it may not be that long ago, when he looked like the man in the back. I agree with Mike's cropping. Very well done. |
