Hi Michael
What an absolutely stunning picture. You created a beautiful combination of the calm of symmetry (of the car sign) and the excitement of assymetry (of the spiders web).
I would not change anything - on my screen it looked perfect sharp and I liked the contrast.
Just brilliant!

Hi Chris
What a beautiful picture - I very much like your considerations and how you implemented them. I can almost feel the droplets and get an imagine of power of the geysir. I will your thoughts in mind when I once go to Iceland.
The only (minor) aspect that I would consider changing is the small light range just above the wood, which seem less visible in Mandy's and Pete's versions.
Great shot! |

Many thanks Michael. Since I have a mirrorless camera I change lenses less frequently, because I am annoyed about the dust specks on the sensor. I therefore take pictures nowadays mainly with a "normal" lens and certain croppping is part of this "modus operandi". I am using a 50 MP and 100 MP Hasselblad Medium Format camera, which enables this quite well. I am not expert but read somewhere that not only the MP's but also the larger size of the individual pixels of the Medium Format are beneficial for the resolution. |

Hi Mark
Very nice shot - I liked in particular how her face is framed on the left and the right.
I did a minor horizontal and vertical shift in LR.
Well captured!

Hi Emil
A gorgeous shot for which Sebastia Salgado would envy you :-)
I could look hours at the different sorts of clouds and the interplay with the hills underneath.
Just beautiful!

Hi Mandy,
I like how you captured the emptiness of the train station. I have not noticed the passenger until closer inspection and would simply leave him there.
Different from Pete I prefer to smaller crop as I find that the light at the handrail takes away my focus from the center where my eyes are drawn to naturally. On the other hand I liked the writing of Southwark, so it is ultimately up to you :-)

Hi Pete - excellent picture. Let's see if the same people have to protest again after this years election ;-)
I fully subscribe to Emil's modification. I would be less concerned about the people in the back but the person at the left border to which the protester is talking to.
Excellent job!
