many thanks Emil. Not sure I understood your 2 thoughts (you might have forgotten to add a picture?). I already did increase whites and decrease blacks and added a linier gradient from to the sky: would you emphasize them or refrain from them? |

many thanks Emil - I like your version better as it puts more emphasis on the different levels on the hills and the darkness of the sky balances the darkness of the hills. I will emphasize accordingly. Thanks |

Many thanks Israel 😊I was generally aware that such "one tree hills" exist but had never seen one. I detected this one by coincidence because we to had stop at a parking lot checking for directions.

Hi Israel, not sure if "pleasure boat" is a proper description if you were thrown side to side ;-) What I like in particular is the foam wave behind the boat which represents its speed. It blends with the form of the clouds and together is a nice contrast to the calm sea.
I played a bit around and did the following: I changed the cropping to 9:16 which seems better aligned with the movement. Further I increased the dynamics (white up black down and the blue colors down). I then added two linear gradients to add more contrast and dynamics to the skies as well as clarity and darkness to the water to make the scenery more dramatic. |

Hi Mark, a very nice idea and well implemented. I in particular like the choice of perspective (on eye level) and the depth of field which includes fore- and background and thereby acheives your intent to see a scene as the knights had centuries ago.
I did play around a bit and thought of the following: I lid anything (except the window) a bit up, and increased the whites on nice tiles (which are typical for Portugal and which I liked). Further I darkened the light that shone in from a window on the left and lid up the top right corner for consistent darkness. Finally I cropped the picture so that the window is in the centre. |

Hi Emil - again a brilliant creation. Another proof what great results the creative use of AI and other tools can produce. Very well done. Considering the nice symmetry of the tree you might consider putting it more central. |

Hi Mandy, this is a wonderful picture. An almost extra-terrestrial scenario. I like the way you cropped it and how you liit up the shadows and increased the overall dynamic. The black sky is the sugar coating on the cake - marvelous! |

Hi Pete, as your titles implies I would as well assume that your guy looks a bit different if he is really angry. This is rather the look I would expect, when he spots the Mormons ringing at his door.
Irrespective of the nature of the mood, I like the way you captured it. On a technical level I in particular like the range and position of the depth of field.
Allow me nevertheless to volunteer some ideas to consider: I personally would have put the face either in the center or leave more room to the left. Lacking the latter I slightly cropped. Further I darkened the white line in the back, which seems not to add value to the composition. |

many thanks, Pete. The optical quality of the "old" XCD lenses is so good, that I could resist (so far...) buying the new XCD - V lenses. The latter weigh slightly less and their AF is said to be faster, which is not relevant for my kind of photography. |
