Hello Stu - This image is both elegant and fun. It's certainly sharp, and the colorful lens blur in the background adds to the liveliness of the overall image as well as to the focus on the bee and the bloom. |

Hello Charles - An exciting action image, to be sure. I did read that the crop is about 25 percent of the original frame. I wonder if that has left the detail a bit soft. I would suggest using Topaz Photo AI, if you have it, to see if that makes a difference. Good capture. |

Hello Tom - I enjoy the image in monochrome. I think the conversion focuses the eye on the heron with minimal distraction from the woody material in which it is standing. The only thing that might improve it, to my mind, would be to try and erase the top part of the woody material that is touching its belly. That's very minor, however, and it's a strong image.

Hello Sharlana - That's definitely a different subject and quite jolting, once the viewer recognizes the implication. I'm wondering if it might be strengthened by reducing the crop, if possible, in order to show more of the car. I think that it would, as Charles suggested, make it more clear that the car is the subject. As is, I wasn't sure what I was looking at, at first glance. The bright red steel of the car juxtaposed with the overgrowth makes for a strong, if highly unsettling, image, which I'm assuming is what you were going for. |

Hello Keith - I agree with Charles that your volunteer work is commendable. As to the image, I'm wondering if it might strengthen it if you cropped the right side to eliminate the piece of equipment the tractor is towing and perhaps use a healing tool to erase the towing shaft. As is, at least for me, my eye tends to move across the tractor to that instead of moving to the grave markers in the cemetery. |

Hello Charles - Thank you for the comments and suggestions. I'll work with the image to make the recommended changes. It was an enchanted hike: I wouldn't have been all that surprised to see hobbits and friendly dragons moving through the deep, silent forest in the background. |
