Thank you all for the kind comments on my photo. I am going to another pow-wow in mid-August and am looking forward to getting more pictures. It's probably going to be very hot out, but fortunately most of the activities are scheduled at night when it's much cooler! |

Thank you Angela. And I agree that it would have been so much better if I had been able to get the full length image of her. If you notice in the original image, you can see the heads of the people on the drums and singers that were seated in the arena between my viewing position and the subject, and her lower legs and feet were not visible. |

Awesome image Angela! The composition is well done and I especially love the lighting - the slight shine on the pestle and onion are like a catchlight you might see in someone's eyes! |
