Hey Janet, thanks for your feedback! You're absolutely right; I could have processed the image differently. I was tempted to boost the saturation, but I realized what really drew me to the scene was the softness created by the steam from the geyser. I couldn't resist Mother Nature's charm and let the image stay soft like I saw it. Many thanks! |

Hey Richard, look at this amazing nice image you made! It's so beautiful, and your processing really brings out all the details. I know some people think vultures are a bit ugly, but I think they're actually really cool creatures. Your photo shows how beautiful they can be. Well done! |

When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought it was a really cool shot of peppers. But wow, was I wrong! After looking at the bigger image and before reading your details, I actually noticed that the peppers I saw are butterfly chrysalides. My eye immediately went to the immersing butterfly. Thanks for explaining how you captured and processed this image. It's such a fun project! When I look at other people's images, I always wonder what I would do if I were the one taking it. I can't think of anything but like the comments Richard Camp gave you. Thanks for sharing, Janet! |

Wow, this is such a lovely and touching photo! The subtle hint of an adult orangutan holding a little one is really interesting. The expression on the orangutan's face seems to say, 'I'm so excited about my banana snack!' Thanks for sharing this beautiful image and telling us a bit about Tanjung Putting. |

Hey Richard, don't feel jealous! You know how sometimes you have your camera gear ready and nature just gives you a special treat? Well, that happened to me on this day. I'm so excited that I got some shots of this magical moment. Thanks a bunch for your kind words about my pre-visualizing my post-processing. |

Hey Ginny! I'm so glad you like this image. The mist/fog was a double-edged sword. I didn't like it when the fog covered the wolves, making it hard to get the camera in the right spot when it cleared. But on the bright side, it really added a lot of interest to the photo. And you're absolutely right - the different colors of the wolves made it even more interesting. I also love that each wolf has a unique eye color. Thanks a bunch! |
