Hi Frans, thanks for your comments. I like your wording "mesmerizing sweet image". I do agree with you the images you shared here is a "mesmerizing sweet image". I will have to explore this technique more. Thanks for passing this on. If I can figure this one out I may be able to have more tools in my photography tool box. Many thanks. |

Yes, these little guys can be so fast. As Frans said they are not actors that will pose for us. I think Dan's suggestion is a great one. There are so many nice aspects in this image. |

Dan, this is wonderful. Wow! If you didn't tell us that you needed to correct for the dark shadow I wouldn't have know. I like the side lighting and you controlled the shadow well.I wish I had more for you but... the only thing I have to say is. I wish I had a shot like this. |

Well done Frans,
Like Ginny, I love the framing. Thanks also for sharing the natural history of the birds. In the use we have the brown-headed cowbird that also has this behavior. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. |

Ginny - what a great image of the raccoon. The lighting and exposure is right one. My only suggestion that could possibly make the image better is... I would like to see the end of it's tail and the bottom of his feet. I know that sometimes it is a fleeting shot and we are luck to have gotten it. I hope this is helpful. |

Thanks Ginny for your comments about my image. I love photography. Sometimes my images inspire me to see if I can be more creative after the shot is in my computer. This one was fun to work with. I hope the shot encourages others to explore what can be done by added textures to their images. |
