Hi Frans, your technique of shooting in burst mode is a great way to capture the very best of the animals actions. I would encourage you to continue this technique. I have had a pair of chickadees at a sunflower in my garden and have applied the burst mode shooting and I believe I have some very nice images because of it. Great advise, Frans. |

Thanks for your kind words, Frans. I do hope to always keep an eye out for the small treasure within the big picture when photographing. I'm sure I have missed many extraordinary possibilities and will try to keep an open eye/mind for such treasures. Thanks much for your comments. |

Arindam, Nice to have you in the group. Love the shot of the over achiever. What a huge snack for the heron. Beautiful capture. I would agree with Dan and Ginny, a tighter crop may highlight the bird and its meal. Thanks for sharing. |

Frans, thanks for sharing such a beautiful shot of an interesting creature. Love the way it is looking over it's shoulder into the camera. Nice interactive shot, which brings the viewer into the chameleon's world. |

Ginny - this is beautiful. I love the composition and would encourage you to take Dan's advise and darken some of the image. You could also try lightening the background and try a high key approach. It is such a lovely image I know you could do a lot with this one. Have fun and thanks for sharing. |

Thanks for your nice comments, Ginny. This image was fun to work on both while the feather floated on the dark water and later when I needed to work on the noise that the high ISO created. So happy you like it. |
