I think this is wonderful! There are a couple of places where the images blend in such a way that the viewers appear to be wearing robes like the statues! I very much like where you positioned the light opening so it pulls the eye through the image, and although I agree the dark shape at the bottom isn't helping, I do worry that cropping too much of it out would disturb the composition. I'd look at a crop that cuts the dark shape at its point on the left, then maybe lighten it a bit? That would leave some lines that might work to help lead the eye into the image. |

I really like the high-key treatment a lot! The result manages to be both peaceful and lively. I would definitely lose the reflection at top, and also rotate clockwise a few degrees, so the reflections are all vertical. I hope you also got some great shots of the cranes! |

A very peaceful image with a relaxing mood. I like how the elements in the opposing corners create balance. The blue up top pulls my attention more than I like, so I wonder how this would work as a monochrome image. I also wonder about just cropping out the blue streak and dock, leaving just the dock's reflection. The light really is lovely. |

The composition does a nice job of putting our focus on the circle art. But because that art is so faded, and the architectural lines are so strong, I like Marcus' suggestion as well. A square crop, with the bottom up slightly to remove the dark structure lower right, and the top cutting through the circle art, would emphasize the lines and architecture. A completely different photograph! |
