Thanks for the comments everyone. N. Sukumar, I got similar feedback from another photographer with very good judgement. |

I agree with Marcus about cropping to emphasize the dying flower upper right. It has a lovely form! I'd consider also cropping up over the dead flower bottom right, then arranging the crop to put the featured dying flower right where you want it. Nice work. |

I like the color version too, especially how the windows pick up the color of the sky, but I agree with you that the sky competes with the details of the building. Your B&W treatment is gorgeous! |

Nice how the glare on the dark page to the right mirrors the shadow on the light page to the left. I also like how you organized the frame. The only thing I'm not sure about is the background up top. Is it a bit busy compared to the minimalism of the rest of the image? |

I agree with Marcus. There is a wonderful feeling here of these two truly enjoying each other's company. I do wish the background showed something of their context, instead of being black. |

I like this one a lot. The composition looks strong and deliberate. I appreciate the juxtaposition of softness (diaphanous dress, hair --> wind) with strength (shoulders, hands --> rock). In particular, I like how the hair and arms break out from the overall diagonal composition to lay along horizontal and vertical lines that mirror each other.
I am curious about the choice of exposure. If this was hand-held, you must be rock solid! I do like the blur you got in the hair, but wonder if you could have opened the aperture up a couple of stops and gotten a sharper focus at ISO 100.
If you allow yourself to do spot removal, consider removing the spots from her left elbow and finger below. |
