I feel this is a little too central. But looking at the crop I feel that bringing in extra from the LHS would've been too glary so I understand why you have cropped the way you did.

You did a good job of making the eagle stand out without losing the quality of the image. If only you could've gotten closer. But well shot considering the limitations that we face trying to get near wild animals. |

I was thinking about cropping the tree on the left out. Then I read Mervyn's comment & do prefer this edit.
Is it me or do these deer have a disproportionally large neck? |

I agree with Jashwant that it is a more painterly effect. However I like it & I like the way that the edit has brought out the racoon's expression |
