Congratulations on your new camera. If you lived in Australia we could go on a shoot & you could try out any of my lenses.
I agree with what Pierre says about learning your camera. Make sure you get a hard copy manual then you can sit down & use it to play with the various settings & functions on your camera.

I like the suggestions from above. I am conflicted about the branch in front of its face but that shows what a natural unposed image it is. Maybe moving as Pierre suggested if it turns up in your backyard again. |

I actually like the way the out of focus top branch balances & frames with the lower branch.
Then I find that my eye travels from the bird up to the more in focus blossoms. Well done as it sounds like they don't stay till for long |

I do like this image. The inclusion of little natural flaws like the cut above her eye & the state of her teeth makes this image stand out. I do agree with Cindy & maybe a bit more space above her if that was possible |
