I do like the work that you've done with the image. I do agree with Pierre & I would remove the wasp. While I feel that the bird was aware it was there I think it was more focused on you. |

I like the work that you are able to achieve with an iPhone. I do agree with Merv about trying for a better time of the day but with wildlife that isn't always possible |

I like how Pierre has simplified this image with cropping. As there are actually 7 ducks. One with its head hidden. Maybe you could separate the heron onto a separate layer then blur the duck layer. Though then you wouldn't have the interaction which is what makes this a fun image. |

I do like it & can imagine that it would've taken some effort to get the moment. Can you get the male's eye a little sharper or is that the way the bird actually is? |

I do like how you have managed to get the detail with all that black. I often avoid photographing black subjects due to the difficulty they pose

They certainly disappear back down their holes with the slightest movement. But other photographers achieve it so I know it's possible |
