I love how the rock in the foreground looks like it could embedded itself in the reflection of the hills in the background. Your work here definitely invites the gaze to spend time touring the entire picture. Job well done! |

Lance, your pictures ALWAYS invite me to think about what I'm looking at; no pop-art work here... I must admit that I struggle figuring out the story you are trying to tell. Initially, I wondered whether this picture was shot in infra-red or merely on a sunny day until I read your caption. Also, this picture works much better in monochrome since the water was likely quite disgusting in color. Finally, since it was shot in Florida, I zoomed in hoping to see some kind of alligator lurking around ;-) |

Love the two bright spots on the picture being the leathered face and hand of the cowboy, but especially how the cowboy's eyes are pointing straight to your camera and almost overlapping the right eye of the horse. I very much like this picture! |

Elsie, good job cropping the distracting boats and schmutz (i.e., stuff) on the right. Since I don't believe that color added much to the picture, I agree that B&W makes the picture more intriguing. My only hesitation is fact that the fishermen are packing up and leaving makes me wonder what the picture would have looked like 10 minutes ago. ;-) |

Adi - Love how the ladies are floating on their personal, inflatable, clouds under a single very fluffy one in the sky. This picture exudes a feeling of relaxation and good times. |

I like how this picture draws my eyes to the tall tree on the left, then climb the hill to the small isolated one before it gets me to wonder what is in the background: stars at night, other trees, a wall of rocks? Job well done |

Hello Michael - Thanks for your kind words! Regarding removing the drone sign, I immediately had a smile come to my lips when you mentioned it. This pathway is very close to the Kennedy Space Center which launches rockets multiple times a week. Because of this, there are many, many signs, some very big, warning that drones are not allowed since this area is protected from flying. Having given you way too many details, I may think about removing it even though it's iconic (?) to that National Park and its set of beaches to make things much more natural. |
