Adi - Interesting layered composition. I'm wondering if the image would have been slightly stronger with a little more white space ahead of the rock outcropping on the right on the picture. Good job! |

Don - Firstly, congrats on your Showcase selection! Great job! Secondly, the picture above makes me want to take a plunge for some cold water therapy when it's so hot in Florida; there better be a sauna behind me to warm me up. Love how the branch on the foreground leads my eyes across the river. |

Lance - What a GREAT analogy between the blue marble and the "floating" flower |

Elsie - That's one interesting fountain. In particular, I like the halloes against the wall. My only (picky) suggestion is to possibly expand the white space on the left of the picture since my eyes scan the balls from right to left to an abrupt left side of the picture. I realize that this may expose the plant in the bottom left of the picture. Rock <You> Hard Place... |

Man, Michael - Everyone took a stab at changing your vision! Though I like the picture for the obvious juxtaposing of the birds expecting to be fed by the person usually sitting in the chair. However, I cropped the image to eliminate the wall which I didn't see adding much to the picture. Unlike a painter who can can easily add things to the canvas, as a photographer, I feel like a sculptor struggling to decide what to remove from an image to make it stronger. |

WOW, Clark! I very much like this minimalist picture. The fact that you removed everything extraneous works for me. I experimented with it, but couldn't do better than your combination of iridescence, smoothness and details. Great job! |
