Lance - As always, your images make me think, make me dive into what I'm seeing, make me explore your mindset. This picture is no different of course. I love the reflection of the tree and sky in the puddle surrounded by leaves. The fact that it's monochrome makes it even more mysterious. Thanks for focusing my mind! |

Adi, no doubt, perfect use of long exposure to get silky water! I like that you had to use a neutral density filter to get this effect. Also, good use of perspective. |

I'm glad I came across this picture, Michael. Though I traveled to India on business, I missed not seeing the holly Ganges river, especially as it flows through Varanasi. But enough about me. Interesting that you shot it in the morning, I would have said late night. I love the shadows and all the signs and advertisements. I suppose that's what foreigners must react to seeing pictures of Times Square. My only suggestion is that it have more noise in it, to represent the grit of the street. Good job! |
