Nice capture. How about bringing a flashlight and light-painting the foreground? It can be done from a distance with narrow beam flashlights. |

I like that you left the tree in the picture - it provides a balance in both composition and colour. The copper plate background is a nice idea. I feel that the right edge of the train is cropped in an awkward spot - I would experiment with cropping the right edge more. Cool pic! |

Nice one! Here in Canada I've only seen Aurora in pink, purple and green. Impressive that you didn't get star trails at 15 seconds. It's a challenge to find a suitable foreground and you sure did in my opinion. |
