Hi Karen, I think you made a lovely picture with great enhancements. I was about to make the same comments as Jim here. I like what he did to show his vision of your image - well done both of you!

I really like the silhouettes with the soft background. The symmetry of the picture is attractive too, with the adults looking in opposite directions. I like that you warmed it up a bit too. |

I think there's more simplicity in my colour version that I like. I always like to step back from a picture or squint at it. That lets me see better the basic building blocks in it. When I do it for this picture, it becomes a little minimalist with just the blocks of colour and the white lines. That's the bit that I like anyways. It's really fun to discuss how we see and appreciate images in different ways.

I think I like the blues, but I'm going to try increasing exposure or contrast and desaturating it a bit. |

I think desaturating the whole picture is a good idea to try. I think I'll make it a bit brighter too. |
