Very good photo of an autumn scene in the forest. You captured very good colors. I think cropping in to the trees that make the arch tells a better story. A couple of suggestions of things to play with in editing: Try either increasing the exposure a bit or play with the temperature control on your editor. I'm not sure if either will work, but they might bring out the colors a bit more. Just a thought. Nice photo. |

I love the back lighting on this shot, along with the sharpness of the 3 pinecones in front and the nice bokeh in the background makes this a compelling shot. You did a really good job of cropping in, but my thought was the same as Angela, to crop in a little more. But I really like this shot. |

Hi Angela. I tried putting the incense behind the cup, but it was not coming out well. However, with the incense in the cup, I couldn't have any coffee in it. But maybe I can think of way to float the incense near the front of the cup. |

Really good image. I think the gold of the honey really stands out with the way that you created the lighting for this shot. Having the rim light on the jar worked really well, and I liked the key line also. Maybe it is just me, but it appears both versions of the shot lean a little to the right. Good shot. |

I really like this photo a lot. Good job braving the cold also. Like Rose, I opted to stay inside. I live in Minnesota where we had temps of -10F/-23C lately. But this is a very creative shot, and you did a good job showing the texture of the bubble, and the snow. I really like the black background and the arrangement as well. |

Very good shot, well done. We have some good still life photos this month. I do like how your arranged everything. My eyes were drawn to the plate and all of the spices there. Really good symmetry and the photo is very sharp. I like the background also. I think it is a good choice to compliment the tray of spices. I think that it works both your way and Angela's. Again, well done. |
