This is a really good portrait of the women. You are correct that the red really makes her stand out, and the way that you cropped the photo captures her expression well. It looks like you tried to remove the person in gray in the background, and I would have made the same attempt. But it is really challenging to remove so much from a photo without leaving some stray markings. Good shot. |

Really good shot of the mountains, and I like all of the edits that you completed. I think the trees on the right give some perspective to the mountain peaks in the background and eliminating the peaks in the background on both the left and right was a good idea. But I liked where you cropped it on the bottom, so maybe you can retouch/eliminate the trees on the left and keep the rugged base of the peaks. Good photo. |

You did a real good job getting of getting the stairs in the shot considering what appears to be a very tight angle to shoot. And you do have the photo very straight, clear and sharp. The lighting appears a little dark, but to me it is the stairs that are a little dark. If you can highlight the stairs in photoshop maybe you can increase the exposure a little, or lessen the shadows, I think that would help. Very good shot. |

Thanks Stephen. I appreciate the feedback and letting me know the proper protocol. I will be sure to follow that going forward, especially since I really do enjoy architecture photography. I should really be researching the buildings I photograph.
You are correct, this building was designed by Frank Gehry. For those of you who are interested, Frank Gehry is a Toronto native and is currently 95 years old. Frederick R Weisman is a Minneapolis native known for the art collection he built while living in Los Angeles. He also helped with much of the funding for the Weisman Center in Minneapolis before his death. |

I liked what you did with the background also, it helps a lot. The image is also really sharp, and leaving a little room on the left was a good idea also. the border is not a bad idea either, just crop a little less. Only nit pick I have is that it appears that there is a spot on one of the horns of the cow in the foreground. Maybe touch that up. Good photo. |

Not a star, it's the moon. I had the same issue with the plane last month. These objects look a lot bigger in real life. The lens I used both times is a 17-28mm. Both shots at 17mm. I also have a 28-75mm lens, but I don't know if that would help. Maybe a lens with a fixed focal length would help, I don't know. I'm interested in any ideas anyone has on this. Thanks. |

Hi Angela. With your edits you did a great job of emphasizing the eagle. I really liked the determined look in the eagle's eye. I think that blurring the background more, along with the determined look of the eagle, might add some 'speed' to the flight of the eagle. I hope that makes sense. |
