Thanks Angela. I attached an updated version. I was focused (pardon the pun) on the tower and clouds when I was editing and missed how dark the other buildings are. So I lifted the shadows and lightened the sky a bit. I cropped a little less than you did on the left to leave a few more clouds. |

Great photo again, Angela. I liked the transition of the lighter colors on the left, and darker browns on the right. the green was also a good touch. |

Really good portrait Tom. I like how you were able to replace the background, and going with a two-toned background really enhanced the image. Really sharp image, with good color. |

Very creative Randall. I see where you took the image from the original, and by enlarging that portion, the gulls are larger, and the both the BNW and the blue version give the impression that the gulls are flying into a cave. I tend to be partial to BNW, but in this case it is a little spooky. The blue version is better this way. I agree with Angela that the gulls on the left are distracting. There are also some white dots in the background that you could retouch. Great image. |

Rose, I liked the subject matter, and the image is very sharp and it does tell a story of three colonial men discussing something serious. The men are a little squeezed in the photo, zooming back just a little so there is some room on the right and left might have helped, but also easier said than done at times. |

You did a great job of capturing the cardinal. I have birds come near my deck a lot, and I find it very hard to capture one, especially close up. I also liked how you have the bird framed by the branches of the tree. But even though I said that you might want to try cropping the bottom group of leaves out, and a little from the right. That should enlarge the bird a bit, and still leave plenty of a frame with the branches. |

Nice photo Janet. I also like the progression from in focus, to not so in focus. I also like that you brought out the purple in the flowers. That really help a lot, along with the border. I agree with Angela, that the image seems a little cramped. Maybe, don't crop the photo so much. There is some space to the upper left in the original that might help provide some space. |
