Good photograph, and I like the subject matter as well. I agree with Angela to straighten the image. If you are back at the park, maybe pan a little left to get the entire memorial. Otherwise, good shot. |

Hi Randall. I am drawn to the photograph also. I remember these types of pumps. Maybe if you could have gotten the whole pump top to bottom but keep the spaces on the sides the same.
But sounds like that was not an option. I agree on the small number of edits you made, and I like how you used film for this.

I see what you mean with the lighting on the right, and I have been playing with NX Studio and Photoshop Express, but with not much luck. You are probably right, a different arc on the light or a different angle would work. But I don't want to lose the angle of my shadows. Maybe a second light would help. I will think about this. |

Hi Angela. You always have such creative shots. This is another one. It came out really really well.
I have a question of my own. You say you move the camera, but do you continue to focus on the flower while you move the camera?

The shot and edits are well done Tom. I agree with removing the twig on the bird on the left, and focusing on the hatchlings tells a great story. Excellent focus also. |

Love the shot Rose. You have a great angle to get so much reflecting in the building. Obviously, you are on the lookout for a good shot also. Well done.
The red car did stand out, but my eye did make its way up the photo to the top. But if you have reason to go back on a sunny day you might get some white clouds in the bay, which I think would help direct the viewer's eye. |
