Other than AI, I don't know how make the sand straighter either, but a really good photograph. You captured the model right at the right time, especially the model's right-hand matching to the 'lightning' in the light painting. The left hand is a little off, but I don't know if it was possible to get that. Great shot. |

Good shot, you were really on the ball. Really good shot from the iPhone also. I don't ever get good shots like this from my phone. I liked the cropping, and how you lightened up the shot. I agree, this could be a little shaper, but you don't have the opportunity to focus when using an iPhone. Well done. |

Great photo. It was nice of the siskins to start a fight for you. You caught them at just the perfect moment. Your edits are really good. Looking at just the final version, I would not have guessed it was cropped so much. You even were able to blur the background, which I would guess is due to the wide aperture setting.

Great shot. I saw the guy with the baseball cap and t-shirt immediately when looking at the original. So good call on editing him out. Also, on the partial person. It also appears that you added a little gold tint, which I also like.
I have tried some action shots with friends golfing, and it is hard to capture the perfect moment, I imagine it is more difficult with cannon fire. That being said, if you can, maybe a little more room on the right of the shot, to give the impression that a cannon ball is going to somewhere. |

Hi Angela,
I had the light off to the left and pointed slightly toward the background. It is a rectangular light, where I brought the intensity down to 75%, and light temperature set to 4500KB. KB is a Kelvin scale, and 4500 is meant to be a fluorescent setting. I got to that by trial and error.
But the halo came out when I added the vignette.
Good catch on the white dots. I thought I caught everything, but I missed those.
