Thanks Stephen. I appreciate your input. Real nostalgia for a few of us. |

Thanks Randall. I did not notice the tilt of the camera. Most likely the tilt of my Nikon, not the Minolta. This is the type of feedback I need. I appreciate it. |

We have a lot of good photos of birds lately, and this is another one. Great timing, and great focus on the shot. |

Great image, very sharp, and most importantly it tells a story. I have been looking at both photos over the last 10 or 15 minutes, and I like the uncropped version better. I struggling to explain why I feel that way, but seeing the additional detail makes it seem that the graffiti goes for a great distance, and the shoot is on a real city street, not a set. I hope that makes sense. |

Yea, my high school had photography classes and we were allowed to use the dark room after hours. Color was too expensive for us, but I spent a ton of time in the darkroom working on black and white development. |

I liked the timing on your shot. Both birds are looking in the same direction, making you wonder what they are looking at. The cropping was well done, along with the sharpening. Very nice photo. |

I agree with Angela and Tom, great capture of the Seagull, and you cropped it really well. Blurring the background also was a good idea to keep the viewer focused on the Seagull. I thought I would pass along a comment that Randall gave to me last month with my Laughing Gull, and that is keep waiting, ready to get shot with the Seagull starting to fly. Easier said than done, because I had the same experience, the gull was letting me take shot after shot. But something to think about. |

Very sharp image, and I really like the reflective foreground.
I think that helped enhance the content, without distracting from the vases. As usual, really creative in how you set up the shot. |

Thanks Angela. This is one where I went back and forth between one flower and two. Originally, I took the shot with one flower, but reshot with two. I thought one flower was not enough to get the 1970s feel. I even reshot with the second flower in the foreground but that was really distracting. |
