I really like this photo also. The Allium is really well positioned in the photograph, and I think the lighting makes this an excellent photo. Not too bright, or to dark. |

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the great feedback. And Thanks Randall, I am still working on improving my composition skills, and I appreciate this kind of feedback. |

Good sharp image, and you capture the subject's eyes really well. I agree that taking the lights out of the background removed a distraction. To your question regarding black and white vs color, I feel the contrast is better in the color version, so maybe brighten the black and white version a little. |

Good sharp photograph. I also like how the male patron is looking right at the robot. He looks like he is not sure what to make of it. The only improvements you might want to consider are to straighten the image, and maybe blur the background a little to help keep the viewer focused on the robot. |

Seeing how cooperative he was, maybe I should have asked him to turn a little ;) |

So, just for fun I made similar edits to see how close I could get to your version Angie. I lifted the shadows and whites through Photo Shop Express, and I removed the nails through NX Studio. PS Express was leaving phantom nails, so I went with Nikon's editor. |

Thanks Angela. I went back and forth on if I should take out the nails. I like you version without the nails. I did not think of editing shadows and whites, but as usual you always have something for me to try out. But I like that, and I will give it a try. |

First, the phot is really sharp, and I think the lighting was really good. You also achieved your goal of getting an interesting face. She is a very regal women, and you did a great job isolating her. I go back and forth on if I like your background Angela's better. In other words, I don't find much to change here. |

I love the creativity on setting up the shot, especially creating the droplets to show off the Gerbera. I do loke Tom's suggestion also, a little closer does help. |

Great shot of your cat looking right at you. I agreed that lightening her face, and removing the distractions were the right things to help the image. With her paws out front, and no distractions I find I'm looking her in the eyes. But I also find it challenging the blur around the image, and not blur part of the image. But great photo. |
