Ricarda, each new facet is an adventure. Astrophotography is particularly challenging with the unknown cloudiness or atmospheric conditions plus stumbling in the dark to find things in the camera bag. I hope to try in a few days with a new tracker I got. Oh, yes, it is a small money pit too... this astrophotography facet. |

Howard, thank you for explaining. I don't do HDR that much, glad you shared that knowledge with me. |

Self critique - I should have shot this at 15 secs or 10 secs which would have minimize the slight trailing of the stars and produce less of a overexposed core area of the nebula. In addition, I could have take twice as many frames at the shorter shutter speed and reduce the noise by stacking more frames. |

Frank, Solid composition from the two repeating triangular roofs, in addition, the shadow from the branches form repeating lines pointing at the subject. I am curious why the very high shutter speed, thus the high ISO.
Would there be anymore color saturation to be gained from the gray color bricks on the lower level if shot at ISO 100 and 1/400 sec. ? |

This is a superb nature image. I like the stern gaze from the three adults, plus the bonus is that it was reflected almost undisturbed from the water surface. |

Delian, she looks like you. Nice pleasant family keepsake image. The hair is well light inspite of the light all from the left side. |
