I love the viewpoint. I suspect the focus and BG blurring are not factors that are easily controlled on the iPhone. I like Pierre's crop as it draws more attention to the face and cuts out some of the bright, disturbing BG. |

Oooh. Very nice. The eyes get your attention. I agree, the lighter version is more pleasing and I would darken the BG to draw more attention to the face. |

The whiptail is in good focus, and I love how the light accentuates its colors. I find the BG distracting, and this could be blurred out more. A tad reduction in exposure of the subject might bring out the colors better and a vignette would not hurt. |

A simple study in color contrasts. I wonder if a slightly lower viewpoint and a closer view of the stamens of the yellow flower would have worked better, throwing the phloxes out of focus giving it a dreamy look? |

Love the picture. The bird is in good focus and the BG is nicely blurred. Nice work in blurring the branches etc. in the BG. |
