Thank you Mervyn. I too love the light. We got to the kill as the sun was setting which rendered the beautiful light. |

Thank you for the comments. That red and blue "thingy" is a fly. I did clone it out in the picture that I had printed. |

Beautiful shot. Good composition, great light and a perfect subject and background. I wouldn't change anything. |

Love the shot of the lizard. Really nothing to change here, but if you really wanted to do something else, a slight vignette might help. Beautiful capture. |

A simple picture that conveys the mood. A beautiful capture. I think the taller crop works better as the background blur is more pronounced. A lower viewpoint may have emphasized the blur better. |

Photographing butterflies is not easy and you have done a good job in getting a shot with one on a flower. I wish those colors were a little muted but then they prefer the bright colors! Composition-wise a slightly lower viewpoint would probably enhance the butterfly but you take what you get a lot of times. |

This picture makes one think for a moment. I like the crop. I wasn't sure at first if the crop of the top of the tree was good for the picture but thinking of it, I feel it balances the picture well. This is a cover for a mystery novel. |

Mervyn, I love the shot. The gerenuk is beautifully captured in its classic pose. I don't think any other antelope browses like this. The picture and composition are great. |

Hi Dean,
Thank you for your critique. The buffalo was actually quite a bit lighter. I darkened it to draw attention to the horn and the cub. I will lighten the FG to see what it looks like.
