I agree with the others. Pretty bird. I am not sure the washed out feel is due to over exposure or due to a subtle lens flare. Did you use a lens hood? Everyone talks about a clean background but there are times when it is simply not possible. You might try the lens blur effect in LR to see if it makes a difference and draws one's eyes to the bird. |

I love the colors and the spherical filter makes the picture pop from the surroundings. |

Great shot, especially as it is uning its proboscis in anticipation of a drink. And it's in good focus. Nice job. |

I love the composition. A tiny bit of vignetting might help draw the observer's eye to the subjects. Elephant eyes are notoriously hard to "brighten" as they usually live under the deep shadow of long, drooping, eyelashes. |
