This image does not thrill me. The colors are good but nothing catches the eye. There is no foreground element to lead the eye in to the picture. I think including some foreground, even if it means sacrificing the tops of the trees would make this picture more interesting. I guess you cannot be too clever when you're using iPhone.

Very nice photo Cindy. I am surprised you have that much depth of field at the f stop. It's wonderful that you caught the action. A slight vignette would be helpful. |

Love the picture. Its pin sharp and the composition is great. I had never thought about using the 200-500 for this type of photography. What an excellent idea. |

I like the blur on the wing tips and the sharp focus on the eagle's face. This picture is better than the side on pose and I think sharper too. BIF is not easy. Good capture. |

Mervyn, I like the capture and I especially love the 3/4 on pose. The image is sharp and the brown in the surroundings actually accentuate the bird. Nice job.

Thank you Dean. That trip to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest was fantastic. I will be going back. Some of the treks are quite difficult at 8500ft, steep hills and slippery vegetation underfoot. But it's all worth it. |

Thank you for your comments Mervyn. It does appear a little dark. I did print this and it looks OK. I will up the exposure as suggested and print it again and see how it looks.
Good to be on the group. I have never done anything like this before!! I hope I can continue to contribute meaningful pictures in the future. |
