First of all, kudos for a perfect double exposure! How did you manage to fit the "eyes" so well in the worm? When I saw the image I thought of an insect, most probably from a sci-fi movie, with its big green eyes. The photo is a little creepy, but I assume that that's what you wanted to achieve. It is interesting the difference in color and shape between the dead leaves in the foreground and the earth in the rest of the picture. |

It is a photo where the shapes make the picture. I like it as it is, but as an abstract I would go with Bob's suggestion and convert it to B&W, where the shapes become more powerful and one can appreciate more details. |

I fully agree with your choices of the fisheye lens and the conversion to B&W. Because of the strange shapes, the stairs, and the multiple squares, I immediately thought of an M.C. Escher drawing when I saw your picture, although in this case it's a "possible" world. Everything works well and I wouldn't change anything. |

A very nice landscape, with several layers created by different shapes and colors. The house at the bottom provides for a good sense of scale. The winding road leads the viewer to the center of the image and the mountains in the background. But I find that the horizontal road cuts the image in two, even after being darkened. There is not much you can do about it, since it was there. |

I generally don't like reptiles and particularly not snakes. But your photo made me think twice about those creatures. Without your explanation, it would have taken me a while before guessing that this was a snake. Shape, texture, and color make for an impressive composition. The symmetry works very well here, with a lot of curves. I would darken the background a little. |

I find the "original" image more abstract. It makes me think more about what it is (mermaids' hair, spaghettis?), and to focus my attention on the ed shapes. I don't mind the deep blue of the water and wouldn't change it. The other image gives more clues of what we are looking at, and it presents a nice contrast between the hard rocks and the soft weeds. But I prefer the abstract one. |
